Preparation of Mortar |

| It is prepared by mixing 1 part by weight syrup & 3 part by weight powder. It is chemical setting cement & should be used within 20 minutes & hence only desired quantity should be prepared at a time. |

Application |

| It can be used as bedding as well as jointing material as it is cheaper. It is used widely for acid proof brick lining in reaction vessel, storage tank, floor, effluent treatment plant, filtration area in chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, dyestuff industries, metal industries, process houses etc. It is also used for filling the joints of chemical resisting stone ware pipe carrying effluent, acid, alkalies etc. |

Chemical Resistance |

| It is resistant to wide range of acids & alkalies. It provides resistance to HF & nitric acid upto 40% cone, (carbon filled). It is not recommended where organic solvents are used. It is resistant to sulphuric acid upto cone, of 70 %. It does not resist aromatic Hydro Carbon. |

Storage & Transportation |
| |
| It should be stored in tightly closed condition, away from moisture, sunlight & heat (direct). During storage & transportation it must be protected from contact with water. |

Handling Precautions |
| |
| While handling the powder and during mixing, use mouth mask and goggles. It is advisable to carry out the mixing in a well-ventilated area, as the powder may cause irritation to the eyes. |
